Reach

Reach is a fictional web app designed to help creative directors,
art directors, and design team leads plan for inclusive design and convey
its value. Designers can get tips for explaining the value of each inclusion recommendation and build a custom project or choose a preset.

Goals:

  1. Give designers a practical tool to help them implement inclusive design

  2. Demonstrate that inclusive design doesn't have to be boring

The homepage of the reach web app. The prompt "what are you planning for today" is followed by presets including website, signage, and video as well as a custom project option.

Reach allows users to create a custom project or pick from a preset to get specific recommendations about how to ensure inclusion and communicate its value. Projects can be saved and shared with collaborators and clients.

After determining the flow of Reach, I created sketches and moodboards to begin determining what it would look like.

Each screen started as a black and white wireframe. I then added colour, did a basic sketch, final linework, and added shading.

Reach would be advertised on the RGD website and Behance as both sites are used by many art directors, creative directors, and design team leads. The ads are attention-grabbing, with bright colours and a call to action.
